Nick Davies
 | | Nick has almost 30 years experience in a variety of service industries, primarily in sales and marketing roles.
Initially working in NatWest Bank under their rapid development program, Nick was recruited for a sales role for an international freight forwarding company, working his way to General Manager during his 4 years there. He subsequently joined NorthAmerican Van Lines, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, as Sales Manager for the international relocation division based in London. In this role, Nick was heavily involved in developing new sales channels and became more involved in marketing activity, including corporate events and direct marketing. |
Nick’s experience in direct marketing helped in his next role as Area Sales Manager with another US firm launching in the UK, Century21. Nick helped successfully launch the company in the competitive London market and was subsequently promoted to Regional Sales Manager.
He then joined a new Direct Marketing computer bureau, Prime Response (now Chordiant) to establish a sales and marketing department, rapidly rising to Divisional Director and asked to launch the company’s new Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) software, Vantage.
His next position was as Sales & Marketing Director at Alchemetrics, a computer bureau in which he launched a web-based product providing access to marketing databases and analysis and secured a wide variety of blue chip companies as clients.
Nick moved into executive search in 1999, focusing on senior roles within data driven businesses and related areas.
